She is me, I am her—
A mirror reflecting back, a sister’s heart,
Same sky, different clouds.
What she says isn’t always what she means,
Her eyes whisper a different story,
Hidden truths between the lines.
Her inner desires and outer world—
Don’t always align.
A disconnect, a silent scream,
Trapped in that invisible cage.
I’ve been there—fully present, yet unseen.
Gave every ounce of me to them:
Their lives, their dreams, their futures.
I gave until I was just a shadow,
A silent partner in someone else’s dream.
I didn’t see it then—the cost.
I chose them, and I’d choose them again,
But this time, I’d choose her too.
I’ve hidden, compromised, and pretended.
Ignored, pushed down, hid away with false promises—
Someday, when, later, after…
She is me, I am her—
But a fire burns within,
A whisper growing louder,
Yearning for more—
Not just more things,
But a fullness, a richness, to be alive,
Dancing naked with a dream catcher for the soul.
A hunger for purpose,
A thirst for connection,
A craving for authenticity.
To take up space,
To be seen, to find my rhythm,
To unleash the magic within.
No longer silenced, no longer small,
I rise and stand tall.
Breaking free from invisible gates,
I step into the light where my true self awaits.
A force of nature, unstoppable,
I embrace the fire, undeniable.
For she is me, and I am her—
